C -9 <br />Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved far its adoption; <br />RESOLUTION #0$-09-XXX <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING 3RD PARTIAL FAYMENT TO STANDARD <br />SIDEWALK, INC FOR IP 08-24 SUNWOOD DRIVE STREETSCAPE <br />WHEREAS, the .Ramsey City Council .authorized the preparation of plans and <br />specifications for the above referenced work; and <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey Gity Council approved the plans and specifications and the <br />advertisement for bids for the above-referenced work on March 11, 2008; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant. to an advertisement far bids for IP 08-24 Sunwood Drive <br />Streetscape, bids were received, opened and. tabulated according to law on April 18, 200$; and <br />WHEREAS, Public Works Director/Principal City Engineer, Brian Olson has inspected <br />the completed work and recommends .partial payment to Standard Sidewalk, -Inc. in the amount <br />of $162,971.60. <br />WHEREAS, Public Works Director/Pxincipal City Engineer, Brian Olson has inspected <br />the completed work and recommends partial payment to Standard Sidewalk, Inc. in the amount <br />of $89,018.92. <br />WHEREAS, Public Works Director/Principal City Engineer, Brian Olson has inspected <br />the completed work and recommends partial payment to Standard Sidewalk, .Inc. in the amount <br />of $45,605..10. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) -That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Standard Sidewalk Inc. for <br />Improvement Project 08-24 Sunwood Drive Streetscape in the amount of $45,605.10. <br />2) That the City -Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes .the Mayor or City <br />Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. <br />;) T'h.at the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of <br />bills -for the date of September 23, 2008. <br />4) .That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this <br />resolution. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was- duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote .being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />RESOLUTION #08-09-X:XX <br />Page l of 2 <br />-95- <br />
