<br />Councilmember Olson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #08~09~173 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AGREEMENT 92644M BETWEEN MN/DOT AND CITY <br />OF RAMSEY FOR INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE OF TRAFFIC SIGNAL AT <br />TH10 AND SUNFISH LAKE BOULEVARD <br /> <br />.; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey and Anoka County have executed a Joint powers <br />Agreement for the Sunfish Lake Boulevard Improvements; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Anoka County, per the Joint Powers Agreement, has received bids for <br />Improvement Project 08~20 Sunfish Lake Boulevard Improvements which consist of pavement <br />widening, installation of medians, drainage improvements, installation of paths, upgrading BNSF <br />crossing and traffic signal improvments at Trunk Highway 10 and Sunfish Lake Boulevard, and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this agreement 92644M covers removal of the existing Traffic Control Signal <br />and Installation of a new Traffic Control Signal with Street Lights, Emergency Vehicle Pre-emption <br />and signing on Trunk Highway No. 10 at County State Aid Highway No. 57 (Sunfish Lake <br />Boulevard) with in the corporate City Limits. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1) The Mayor and City Administrator are authorized to sign this agreement on behalf of the city <br />in their Official capacities. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption. of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Strommen, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Olson <br />Councilmember Strommen <br />Councilmember Dehen <br />Councilmember Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Look <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />none <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />none <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Councilmember Elvig <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #08~09-173 <br />Page 1 of2 <br />
