<br />stated this is a housekeeping item and serves to eliminate the contradiction between Chapters 5 <br />and 9 by removal of that text which allows for the outdoor storage of one unlicensed vehicle. <br /> <br />Citizen Input <br /> <br />There was none. <br /> <br />Motion by Acting Chairperson Levine, seconded by Commissioner Hunt, to close the public <br />hearing. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Acting Chairperson Levine, Commissioners Hunt, Brauer, <br />Cleveland, VanScoy, and Rogers. Voting No: None. Absent: Chairperson Nixt. <br /> <br />The public hearing closed at 8:37 p.m. <br /> <br />Commission Business <br /> <br />Acting Chairperson Levine called the regular meeting of the Planning Commission back to order <br />at 8:37 p.m. <br /> <br />Commissioner Van Scoy requested further information regarding the definition of an unlicensed <br />vehicle. <br /> <br />Assistant Community Development Director Frolik replied that Chapter 5 currently defines an <br />unlicensed vehicle as one that is either unlicensed, uninsured, or as not being road worthy. She <br />added a vehicle is considered inoperable if it is not licensed and not insured. <br /> <br />. Motion by Commissioner Brauer, seconded by Commissioner Hunt, to recommend that City <br />Council adopt the proposed ordinance to amend Section 9.11.08 (Off-Street Parking) and Section <br />9.11.09 (Number of Parking Spaces Required) of the City Code. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Acting Chairperson Levine, Commissioners Brauer, Hunt, <br />Cleveland, Van Scoy, and Rogers. Voting No: None. Absent: Chairperson Nixt. <br /> <br />Case #6: <br /> <br />Staff Update <br /> <br />The Staff Update was noted. <br /> <br />Associate Planner Gladhill stated on September 15th, construction will begin on Sunfish Lake <br />Boulevard and Highway 10; access will still be available to the businesses and Anoka County <br />and MnDOT have worked hard to keep this access open. He added there will be a six-week <br />closure of the road north of the railroad tracks and detour signs will be posted. <br /> <br />Assistant Community Development Director Frolik stated as part of the work on updating the <br />Comprehensive Plan, two volunteers are needed from the Planning Commission.
