<br />Council Business <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular City Council meeting back to order at 7:11 p.m. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that the City has a park trail at the end of this road and asked how this <br />would affect the trail. <br /> <br />Assistant City Engineer Himmer stated that the trail portion will be kept in, so a portion of the <br />right-of-way will remain intact for a future connection and there would be a 50 foot wide <br />corridor for a water main and trail connection. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Strommen, seconded by Councilmember Olson to introduce the <br />ordinance for the vacation of a portion of the Gamet Street NW right-of-way, south of 150th <br />Avenue NW. <br /> <br />Motion carried. V oting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Strommen, Olson, Jeffrey, and <br />Look. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmembers Dehen and Elvig. <br /> <br />Case #2: <br /> <br />Public Hearing to Consider Execution of Business Subsidy Agreement with <br />Tag Machine, Inc. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec closed the regular portion of the City Council meeting at 7:12 p.m. in order to <br />conduct a public hearing. <br /> <br />Public Hearin2: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the public hearing to order at 7:12 p.m. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Economic Development Coordinator Sullivan stated that staff has negotiated an agreement with <br />Tag Machine for a building located on Lot 1, Block 1, Gateway North. He stated that they <br />currently have 7 employees and this will create at least 11 new jobs that pay at least $14.00 per <br />hour. He stated that the assessed market value of the property will be $815,000, will generate <br />$26,000 per year in taxes and $15,550 in tax capacity annually. He noted that the owner of Tag <br />Machine, Inc. is present to answer questions. <br /> <br />Citizen Input <br /> <br />There was none. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Strommen, seconded by Councilmember Look, to close the public <br />hearing. <br /> <br />City Council!
