Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #00-09- <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING TIq-E ISSUANCE OF A CONDITIONAL USE pER3IlT FOR A <br />HOME OCCUPATION BASED ON FI2¥DINGS OF FACT # A2N-D DECLARING TERI~vlS <br />OF PERMIT FOR A ~ AND TAxNNING SALON IN TI-I~, SINGLE FAIM_ILY RURAL <br />DISTRICT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey Planning Commission adopted Resolution #00-09-m adopting <br />Findings of Fact # ... for this use and herein approves the Conditional Use Permit for a Home <br />Occupation subject to ti~'~ following conditions. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ~ CITY OF <br />RANISEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />On a Conditional Use Permit ("Permit") was issued by the City of Ramsey ("City") to' <br />Rebecca Wissler ("Permit Holder") for a home occupation to establish a hair and tanning salon in the <br />dwelling on the property generally known as 6614 153rd Lane NW and legally described as follows: <br /> <br />All that part of the south half of the northeast quarter of Section 22, Township 32 Range 25, <br />Anoka County, Minnesota described as follows commencing at a point on the south line of said <br />south half of northeast quarter a distance of 1533.76 feet west from the southeast comer of said <br />south half of northeast quarter thence west along said line a distance of 135.0 feet thence north at <br />right angles to said south line a distance of 323.0 feet thence e=t and parallel with said south line <br />a distance of 135.0 feet thence south at right angles to last course a distance of 323.0 feet to the <br />point of commencement (subject to easement of record).("Subject Property:") <br /> <br />This permit is issued pursuant to Section 9.03.04 and 9.11.04 of the Ramsey City Code. The conditions <br />of this permit are as follows: <br /> <br />That this resolution shall allow for the establishment and operation of a hair and tanning salon on <br />the Subject Property. <br /> <br />Should the Permit Holder die or move to a new location, the Permk shall be automatically <br />terminated, except that in the case of death, should a surviving spouse or child, residing at the <br />same address, desire to continue the home occupation, written notice to that effect shall be given <br />to the City Administrator and the City Council may authorize continuation of the Permit without <br />further hearing. <br /> <br />The area devoted to the home occupation shall not exceed twenty percent (20%) of the total floor <br />area of the private dwelling. <br /> <br />Adequate water supply and on-site sewage disposal facilities shall be the responsibility of the <br />Permit Holder. <br /> <br />5. Adequate off-street parking shall be provided by the Permit Holder <br /> <br />6. There shall be no exterior or interior display of business signs. <br /> <br />-145- <br /> <br /> <br />
