Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #00-09- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING 1sT PARTIAL PAYMENT TO PDM CORPORATION FOR <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #99-64 (WATER TOWER NO. 2) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on May 23, 2000, the Ramsey City Council approved Improvement Project <br />#99-64; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on July 25, 2000, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #00-07-184 <br />awarding the bid for the construction of Water Tower No. 2 to PDM Corporation in the amount <br />of $1,455,000; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Engineer, Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed work and <br />recommends partial payment to PDM Corporation in the amount of $156,750.00. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RANISEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to PDM Corporation for <br />construction of Water Tower No. 2 project in the amount of $156,750.00. <br /> <br />2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City <br /> Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of <br />bills for the date of September 26, 2000. <br /> <br />4) <br /> <br />That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this <br />resolution. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember_ <br /> , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #00-09- <br />Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br />-51- <br /> <br /> <br />
