9uestions re SQccial Events Permit Almlication for Hi2h School Reunion Tours L.L.L.P.

1. What is your plan for overflow parking? Approximately 440 parking spaces are available
in Central Park lots which inchldes an additional 100 (50 in each) hockey rink. We
realize you have St. Katharine's property - do you know how many you can park the~e?
The grass would have to be cut prior to parking there. With 2,000 people expected,
adequate parking is not available in the immediate area and street parking is not allowed.

In speaking with the applicants. they are not concerned with parking as the QropertY
that belongs to St. Katharine's is a huge area for parking. I offered the idea of the use of
the parking ramp and thev could hire busses to get people over to Central Park. They
didn't feel that would be necessary.

2. Portapotty plan - A portapotty company usually can tell you how many you will need for
the amount of people you are expecting.

The ap1?licants will contact a portapotty company and fjnd out how many they suggest
renting and they will follow their recommendg#o1)~.

3. What are the hours you expect the bands will be playing.

They are hoping to be allowed to let the band play until midnight on Saturdav night -
Sunday thev are fine with the music stopping earlier. I informed them the Code allows
.music until 10:00 p.m. on Sunday ni~hts - they said that would not be a problem.

4. We do not allow liquor in our. parks; however, Council may allow it by voting on it.

Thev have been informed that liquor in the parks is not the norm. however, they have
been made aware that Council mav grant permission and thev are reg, uesting permission
to serve alcohol. Thev have contacted the Ramsev Lions. however. were told that thev
may not be able to do it because of it qeing a real busv time for them! If Council allows
- the event~ and allows alcohol. there is time to work on ~e specifics of the alochollicense.

S. Security: With alcohol - and that number of people. Chief Way estimated a minum of
four Qfficers - there is a charge per hour for this service. The security that will be
secured by the event - will that be an actualy security company?

I informed them that since there is alcohol. they would have to have a number of
uniformed Citv of Ramsey police officers for security. They stated they would agree to
