-146- is an existing fenced in exercise yard with future plans to extend the fenced area. The applicant has a 6 x 24 foot kennel outside and a 6 x 12 foot kennel inside the garage. The Planning 'Commission reviewed the application and held a public hearing on October 3, 2000. The Planning Commission noted three (3) letters that were submitted by surrounding neighbors opposing Amy Ross's request to maintain up to six (6) dogs on a parcel. There were two (2) neighbors at the public hearing who stated their support of Ms. Ross's request. See enclosed map identifying parcels supporting and parcels opposing Amy Ross's request. Recommendation: The Planning commission recommended approval of the request to maintain up to six (6) adult dogs on the property. Commission Action: Motion to adopt Resolution #00-10- adopting Findings of Fact~ relating to Amy Ross's request for a conditional use permit for a private dog kerme[ for six (6) adult dogs. -and- Motion to approve Mrs. Ross's request for a conditional use permit to maintain six (6) adult dogs at 8[00 154~h Avenue NW, based on the findings of fact and adopting Resolution #00-10- declafing terms of same. -or- Motion to deny Amy Ross's request for a conditional use permit to maintain six (6) adult dogs at 8100 154th Lane NV/, based on the findings of fact.
