PC CASE # ~.~ <br /> <br />AUTHORIZE HIRING OF PRINCIPAL PLA~NNER <br /> Rhonda Heryla, Human Resources Manager <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />On September 13, 2000, Council authorized staff to upgrade the City Planner position to a Principal <br />Planner position and also authorized recruiting to fill the vacancy. The position was posted and <br />advertised, and ten applications were received by the October 4t~' deadline. Six applicants were <br />contacted for interviews, but only' four applicants set Up interviews for Monday, October 23~a.
