-276- Councilmember XX introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #00-10- RESOLUTION AUTHORIZE THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS FROM THE CONTINGENCY FUND TO THE GENERAL FUND BUILDING FUND FOR THE PURCHASE OF A SNACK MACHINE FOR CITY HALL WHEREAS, the City's Labor/Management Committee meets on a regular basis, to discuss issues and concerns that affect Staff; and WHEREAS, the Labor/Management Committee accepts and reviews suggestions submitted to them from Staff; and WHEREAS, the suggestion Was made to the Labor/Management Committee to research and consider purchasing a snack machine so that snacks and money collected for those snacks are more secure; and WHEREAS, the proceeds of the snack machine would be used for the supplying and maintaining the snack machine and the excess funds to pay for additional employee activities. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAa¥ISEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: That the Labor/Management Committee is hereby author/zed to purchase a snack machine from Jen's Vending in the amount of $1,450. That the funds to purchase a snack machine be transferred from the Contingency Fund to the City's General Fund Building Fund. That the money used to purchase the snack machine will be repaid to the Contingency Fund from the net proceeds received from the sales of the snacks.
