Councilmember __ introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #00-10- RESOLUTION APPROVING 4TM PARTIAL PAYMENT TO E. H. RENNER & SONS, INC. FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #99-65 (WELL NO. 5) WHEREAS, on July 25, 2000, City Engineer Brian Olson inspected the completed work and recommended first partial payment to E. H. Renner & Sons, Inc. in the amount of $25,662.63; and WHEREAS, on August 22, 2000, City Engineer Brian Olson inspected'the completed work and recommended second partial payment to E. H. Renner & Sons, Inc. in the amount of $12,664.32; and WHEREAS, on September 26, 2000, City Engineer Brian Olson inspected the completed work and recommended third partial payment to E. H. Renner & Sons, Inc. in the amount of $15,210.30; and WHEREAS, City Engineer Brian Olson inspected the completed work and recommended fourth partial payment to E. H. Renner & Sons, Inc. in the amount of $34,140.75. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes fourth partial payment to E. H. Renner & Sons, Inc. for Well No. 5 in the amount of $34,140.75 on October 24, 2000. 2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign 'the release form for this payment. 3) That the total amount of'this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the month of October 2000. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by'Councilmember ~, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: -47-
