Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #00-09- RESOLUTION APPROVING IMPROVEMENT PROJECT MAINTENANCE PROGRAM) FINAL PAYMENT TO W.B. MILLER, INC. FOR #00-01 THROUGH #00-05 (2000 STREET WHEREAS, Council on April 11, referenced work; and Resolutions #00-04-086 through #00-04-090 were adopted by Ramsey City 2000, authorizing the preparation of plans and specifications for the above WHEREAS, 2000, approving the referenced work; and Resolution #00-04-101 was adopted by Ramsey City Council on April 25, plans and specifications and the advertisement for bids for the above- WHEREAS, on June 13, 2000 the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #00-06- XXX awarding the bid to W.B. Miller, Inc. for the 2000 Street Maintenance Program (Improvement Projects #00-01 through #00-05); and WHEREAS, City Engineer Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed work and recommends final payment to W.B. Miller, Inc. in the amount of $53,338.91. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes final payment to W.B. Miller, Inc. for the 2000 Street Maintenance Program (Improvement Projects #00-01 through #00-05) in the amount of $53,338.91. 2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the month of October 2000. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution.
