The bids ranged fi.om a Iow $57,155.50 to a high of $152,001.94. The three lowest bids <br /> <br />for the project are as follows: <br /> Contractor <br /> Volk Sewer & Water, Inc. <br /> Wipper Backhoe & Bobcat <br /> WB Miller, Inc. <br /> <br />Total Bid <br /> <br />$ 57,155.50 <br />$ 70,048.06 <br />$ 70,372.00 <br /> <br />The Engineer's estimated construction cost based upon the £mal plans was $71,000. <br /> <br />The bid cost reflects a 20% decrease from the final plan cost estimate. <br /> <br />Volk Sewer & Water, Inc. is the low bidder.
