Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #00-06- <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUAxNCE OF A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />BASED ON FINDINGS OF FACT #06 AND DECLARING TERMS OF PERIMIT TO <br />EXCEED SIGN SIZE AND HEIGHT RESTRICTIONS <br /> <br /> 'vVHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #00-06-__ adopting Findings <br />of Fact #06__ for this use and herein approves the Conditional Use Permit. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE tT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That on June 13, 2000, a Conditional Use Permit ("CUP") was issued by the City of Ramsey <br />("City") to North Lake Properties Inc., a Minnesota corporation, ("Permit-tee") to exceed the sign <br />size and height restrictions on the property generally known as west of Hwy. 47 and north of <br />County Road 116 and legally described as follows: <br /> <br />Lot 2, Block 1, River/47 Plaza Addition, Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> <br />(Subject Property). <br /> <br />This permit is issued pursuant to Section 9.03.04 of the Ramsey City Code. The conditions of <br />this permit are as follows: <br /> <br />The Permit-tee is herein granted permission to erect a freestanding pylon sign with a business <br />identification sign surface area not to exceed a 210 square feet and a reader board not to <br />exceed 40 square feet. None of the individual tenant identification spaces on the pylon sign <br />shall exceed t00 square feet in size. <br /> <br />2. The freestanding pylon sign may exceed the 25 foot height restriction by a maximum of five <br /> feet. <br /> <br />3. The installation of the ground sign on the Subject Property shall require a sign permit from <br /> the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />4. The sign shall be properly constructed and maintained in accordance with Section 9.12 <br /> (Signs) of the Ramsey City Code. <br /> <br />5. That the Permittee shall be responsible for all City costs incurred in administering and <br /> enforcing this Conditional Use Permit. <br /> <br />6. That the City Administrator, or his/her designee, shall have the right to inspect the premises <br /> for compliance and safety purposes annually or at any time, upon reasonable request. <br /> <br />-222- <br /> <br /> <br />
