CASE # <br /> <br /> SELECTION OF CONSULTANT FOR <br />UPDATE OF ZONING AND SUBDMSION CHAPTER OF CITY CODE <br />By: Community Development Director Sylvia Frolik <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />As you know, Community Development Block Grant funds were approved for hiring a consultant to <br />update Ramsey's Zoning and Subdivision Chapter to implement the Compehensive Plan that has <br />been submitted to Metro Council for approval. Council approved the RFP and directed City Staff to <br />solicit proposals. <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />The City received the following proposals: <br /> <br />McCombs Frank Roos Associates, Inc. <br />Northwest Associated Consultants <br />Dahlgren Shardlow and Uban <br />Hoisington Koegler Group <br />SRF <br />Sanders Wacker Bergly, Inc. <br /> <br />$40,000 <br />$40,40O <br />$42,336 <br />$43,200 <br />$44,713 <br />$44,850 <br /> <br />The proposals were reviewed by the Community Development Department and the Assistant City <br />Administrator. The top two candidates were SRF and Hoisington Koegler. The principals in <br />charge would be Charlene Zimmer from SRF and Mark Koegler from Hoisington Koegler Group. <br />The proposals are available for review by contacting the Community Development Department and <br />will also be available at the Council meeting. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />Based on their familiarity with the draft comprehensive plan, Staff is recommending awarding the <br />contract to the Hoisington Koegler Group. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember and seconded by Councilmember <br />the contract for the Zoning and Subdivision Chapter update to <br /> <br /> to award <br />in the amount of <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />Assistant City Administrator <br /> <br />CC: 06/13/00 <br /> <br />-265- <br /> <br />tl <br /> <br /> <br />
