Community Development Director Frolik replied that in the sewer and water district they would have setbacks to meet. Consensus of the Council was to direct staff to work with builders on a case by case basis and issue building permits and to take immediate action to have the size restriction on attached garages eliminated from City Code. #4: Bowers Drive Administrative Subdivision Community Development Director Frolik explained that a resident along Bowers Drive needs to rebuild his garage and, in order to do so, would need to acquire a small portion of his neighbors property. His neighbor is willing to sell the piece of property and questioned if the Council was comfortable with an Administrative Subdivision. Councilmember Hendriksen stated that he would be more opposed to the separate parcel it would create. Community Development Director Frolik replied that the subdivision would require a lot combination. Councilmember Hendriksen stated that as long as at the end of the process there are two parcels only and both parties are agreeable to the transaction then he does not see a problem with going ahead with an Administrative Subdivision. Councilmember Anderson stated that she is concerned over the long term impact of the decision and would like to see the process go through the normal standards. Mayor Gamec replied that an Administrative Subdivision is normal standards. A majority of the Council directed staff to go ahead with an Administrative Subdivision. #5: Ace Solid Waste Proposal City Administrator Norman inquired if the Council would be willing to provide TIF assistance for the Ace Solid Waste project. Councilmember Hendriksen questioned why the City would pay to br/ng them into the City when they are not sure they want the business in the area.
