<br />(!., - JO <br /> <br />COllncilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #08-10..XXX <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING 4TH PARTIAL PAYMENT TO STANDARD <br />SIDEW ALK, INC FOR IP 08..24 SUNWOOD DRIVE Sl'REETSCAPE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council authorized the preparation of plans and <br />specifications for the above referenced work; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council approved the plans and specifications and the <br />advertisement for bids for the above-referenced work on March 11,2008; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for IP 08-24 Sunwood Drive <br />Streetscape, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law on April 18, 2008; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Public Works DirectorlPrincipal City Engineer, Brian Olson has inspected <br />the completed work and recommends partial payment to Standard Sidewalk, Inc. in the amount <br />of $162,971 .60. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Public Works DirectorlPrincipaJ City Engineer. Brian Olson has inspected <br />the completed work and recommends partial payment to Standard Sidewalk, Inc. in the atnount <br />of$89,OI8.92. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Public Works Director/Principal City Engineer, Brian Olson has inspected <br />the oompleted work and recomniends partial payment to Standard Sidewalk, Inc. in the amount <br />of $45,605.10, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Public Works Director/Principal City Engineer, Brian Olson has inspected <br />the completed work and recommends partial payment to Sta11dard Sidewalk, 1nc, in the amount <br />of $46,877.75. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Standard Sidewalk Inc. for <br />Improvement Project 08-24 Sunwood Drive Streetscape in the amount of$46,877.75. <br /> <br />2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City <br />Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. <br /> <br />3) That the total amOullt of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of <br />bills for the date of October 28, 2008. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #08-10-XXX <br />Page 1 of2 <br /> <br />-95- <br />
