<br />Comprehensive Plan Amendment to vary from the Staging Plan for these two sites and it is <br />anticipated that no further development will occur in this area prior to the staging plan being <br />updated in the 2008 Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />Citizen Input <br /> <br />. There was none. <br /> <br />Motion by Acting Chairperson Levine, seconded by Commissioner VanScoy, to close the public <br />hearing. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Acting Chairperson Levine, Commissioners Van Scoy, Brauer, <br />Cleveland, Hunt, and Rogers. Voting No: None. Absent: Chairperson Nixt. <br /> <br />The public hearing closed at 8:35 p.m. <br /> <br />Commission Business <br /> <br />Acting Cp.airperson Levine called the regular meeting of the Planning Commission back to order <br />at 8:35 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner VanScoy, seconded by Acting Chairperson Levine, to recommend that <br />City Council adopt the proposed resolution approving the amendment and authorizing staff to <br />submit the Comprehensive Plan Amendment to Metropolitan Council for approval. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Absent: Chairperson Nixt. <br /> <br />Case #5: <br /> <br />Public Hearing - Proposed Ordinance to Amend Off-Street Parking <br />Regulations; Case of the City of Ramsey <br /> <br />Acting Chairperson Levine closed the regular portion of the Planning Commission meeting at <br />8:35p.m. in order to call the public hearing to order. <br /> <br />Public Hearing <br /> <br />Acting Chairperson Levine called the public hearing to order at 8:35 p.m. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Assistant Community Development Director Frolik explained that currently, Section 9.11.08 of <br />the City Code allows for the outdoor storage of one unlicensed vehicle and this provision <br />conflicts with Section 5.08 (Public Nuisance). She indicated Section 5.08 prohibits the outdoor <br />storage of inoperable vehicles and states that an unlicensed vehicle i~ considered inoperable.
