<br />Mayor Gamec directed Goodrich to schedule the eviction hearing. <br /> <br />Councilmember Jeffrey confirmed that the hearing is to revoke his license in the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich noted that the eviction hearing will be in the courts. He asked how the <br />Council felt about the possibility of negotiating that if he leaves the building by November 1, <br />2008, the City will forgive the rent due. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that he wouldn't object to that because he doesn't think the City will ever <br />get the money anyway. <br /> <br />Councilmember Dehen stated that he feels this sets a horrible precedent. <br /> <br />Councilmember Look stated that if the City gets a judgment on him, that will go to other <br />landlords.
