<br />Ramsey Police Department Monthly Report <br />September 2008 <br /> <br />General Police Statistics and Hh!:hlie:hts <br /> <br />· Pony Tail Theft <br /> <br />On September 7th, officers responded to Comfort Suites hotel on a report of a male <br />cutting a female employees hair without her consent. Investigators conducted multiple <br />interviews, completed an investigation and sent a felony case file to the county attorney's <br />office for possible charges of theft from person. <br /> <br />,. ,Motor Vehicle Theftipursuit <br /> <br />On September 14th, patrol officers interrupted a theft of motor vehicle in progress at <br />. Wilkins used car lot. The suspect fled in the stolen motor vehicle from officers. Officers <br />terminated the pursuit by using a PIT technique. Suspect was charged with Theft of <br />motor vehicle, Fleeing police, and damage to property (squad cars). <br /> <br />· Terroristic Threats <br /> <br />On September 30th, officers responded to RJMenterprises on a report of a former <br />employee threatening to shoot other employees with an AK -47 rifle. Suspect was <br />arrested by officers for terroristic threats. Investigators interviewed multiple persons <br />involved and.are completing a felony case file for charges of Terroristic Threats. <br /> <br />· Seized Vehicles <br /> <br />Investigators completed the paperwork for 11 motor vehicles seized or abandoned from <br />various cases; the vehicles are now the City of Ramsey property and will be re-so1d at <br />auction. <br /> <br />· Animal Control <br /> <br />Eleven dogs were contained and transported to the Anoka Impound Facility in <br />September.
