" <br /> <br />Assistant City Engineer Himmer stated that the trail portion will be kept in, so a portion of the <br />right-of-way will remain intact for a future connection and there would be a 50 foot wide <br />corridor for a water main and trail connection. " <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Strommen, seconded by Councilmember Olson to introduce the <br />ordinance for the vacation of a portion of the Garnet Street NW right-of-way, south of 150th <br />AvenueNW. He stated that they <br />currently have 7employees and this will create at least 11 new jobs that pay at least $14.00 per <br />hour. He stated that the assessed market value of the property will be $815,000, will generate <br />$26,000 per year in taxes and $15,550 in tax capacity annually.
