ORDINANCE NO. 08-29 CITY OF RAMSEY ANOKA COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF DEDICATED PUBLIC ROAD RIGHT- OF-WAY IN THE CITY OF RAMSEY,ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA The City of Ramsey Ordains: SECTION 1.AUTHORITY This ordinance is adopted pursuant to and under the authority of the Home Rule Charter of the City of Ramsey, Section 12.06 and Minnesota Statutes 412.851 SECTION 2. VACATION The following described portion of dedicated road right-of-way is hereby vacated,to-wit: The westerly 16.00 feet of Garnet Street N.W. as dedicated on the plat of PELTZER ADDITION,Anoka County, Minnesota lying southwesterly and southerly of the to be described "Line A" and its extensions and lying northerly of the to be described"Line B"and its extensions. "Line A"is described as commencing at the Northwest Corner of Lot 4, Block 3, said PELTZER ADDITION;thence on an assumed bearing of South 71 degrees 32 minutes 00 seconds East along the northerly line of said Lot 4 a distance of 55.00 feet;thence northeasterly along said northerly line being a tangential curve concave to the north having a radius of 126.69 feet and a central angle of 18 degrees 05 minutes 24 seconds for a distance of 40.00 feet to the point of beginning of said"Line A";thence southeasterly along a non-tangential curve concave to the southwest having a radius of 77.18 feet, central angle of 79 degrees 54 minutes 53 seconds and the chord of said curve bears South 51 degrees 22 minutes 20 seconds East for a distance of 107.65 feet to the intersection with the east line of the west 16.00 feet of said Garnet Street N.W.;thence South 89 degrees 58 minutes 27 seconds East a distance of 50.00 feet to intersect the west line of Block 2, said PELTZER ADDITION and said"Line A"there terminating. "Line B"is described as commencing at the Southeast Corner of Lot 4, Block 3, said PELTZER ADDITION; thence on an assumed bearing of South 36 degrees 31 minutes 33 seconds West, along the westerly right-of-way line of said Garnet Street N.W. a distance of 82.44 feet to the point of beginning of said"Line B"; thence South 53 degrees 28 minutes 27 seconds East a distance of 66.00 feet to the easterly right-of-way line of said Garnet Street N.W. and said"Line. B"there terminating. SECTION 3.EFFECTIVE DATE This Ordinance becomes effective thirty(30)days after its publication subject to the City Charter Section 5.07.
