Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: and RESOLUTION # A RESOLUTION REAPPOINTING BOARD AND COMMISSION MEMBERS WHEREAS, the terms of seven commissioners will expire on December 31, 2008; and WHEREAS, all seven commissioners have been invited to apply for an additional term; WHEREAS, as per City policy the EPB seat left vacant by Mr. Wayne Harvey will be advertised; and NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the Personnel Committee to do the following: • Reappoint/do not reappoint Keith Kiefer to a six -year term on the EDA (2009 -2014) • Reappoint/do not reappoint Joe McDilda to a four -year term on the EPB (2009- 2012) • Reappoint/do not reappoint Melody Shryock to a four -year term on the Park and Recreation Commission (2009 -2012) • Reappoint/do not reappoint Steve Hansen to a four -year term on the Park and Recreation Commission (2009 -2012) • Reappoint /do not reappoint Gary Levine to a four -year term on the Planning Commission (2009 -2012) • Reappoint/do not reappoint Ralph Brauer to a four -year term on the Planning Commission (2009 -2012) • Reappoint/do not reappoint Tom Anderson to a four -year term on the Public Safety Board (2009 -2012) • Direct staff to advertise the vacant EPB seat.
