You will hear unsubstantiated allegations of my dogs running at large, of them being in
neighbor's property and even of them biting this individual's dog. I do not allow my
dogs to run freely. I do not simply let them out and go back in the house with them out
loose or unattended. The same neighbor accusing me of this, is guilty of doing so
himself. Every neighbor I talked with commented, without my prompting, that they
never see my dogs, but regularly see this accusatory individual' s dog walking in the
street, urinating on their mailbox, in their driveway, yards and garages. This same
individual has yelled at my daughter, yelled at my partner telling him not to speak or "I
will tell your mother ", obviously thinking he was my twenty year old son, challenged him
to a fight and threatened my fifteen year old daughter and I stating he will kill all our
dogs with his bare hands and on another occurrence that he would shoot them. I do
understand now, that upon these occurrences, I should have filed reports. I did not do so
because this is my neighbor and I have to live next door to him. I had simply directed the
children not to open the door if there is not an adult home or if they suspected it was him.
I have, since this "neighbor" situation continues to escalate, been advised to notify the
authorities for all situations. This neighbor is slandering me to co- workers, authorities
and now the entire city in effect.
Please know we have control and containment items in place for our animals Not just
because it is safer for them but because it is responsible pet ownership. I have been a
responsible pet owner since I was thirteen when I purchased my first German Shepherd.
I have never had any problems or accusations of being irresponsible.
a(
