This update should be a regional effort involving Mn/DOT, Anoka <br />County, the City of Ramsey, and adjacent communities. The corridor study should <br />include the following elements: <br />• Study access points and median breaks to determine if closure benefits <br />movements along TH 10/169. <br />• Establish an access spacing and closure policy for implementation <br />• Coordinate frontage road access with abutting properties and cross street <br />intersections along TH 10/169. <br />• Determine the adequate detachment distance between TH 10 /10 ance frontage <br />roads at each access point. <br />• Identify a preferred location and design of a grade- separated inttrnge be -weep <br />TH 10/169 and any potential Mississippi River bridge crosses - F <br />• Establish an appropriate land use pattern that reduces or din n s_cdnflicts with <br />the highway. <br />= T <br />The Metropolitan Council's Transportation Policy Plan recommends that a corridor <br />Boulevard in : Coon Rapids to TH 101 in • Elk River. The City of Ramsey will <br />The TH 47 corridor is a vital ele in the City's transportation system. Ramse is also actively <br />atinc in the TH10/47 corridor stud bein' undertaken b Anoka <br />County. <br />2008 Comprehensive Plan <br />cif CR 116 will be extended westward from its present terminus at Ramsey Boulevard to <br />Armstrong Boulevard.
