Acting Mayor Elvig stated that this can be made Case #9 on the <br />regular agenda. <br />Councilmember Jeffrey amended his motion, seconded by Councilmember Olson, to make item <br />#13 from the Consent Agenda, Case #9 on the regular agenda, <br />Motion carried. Absent: Mayor Gamec <br />COUNCIL BUSINESS <br />Case #1: Public Hearing: Application for Off -Sale Intoxicating Liquor License: Case <br />of Blaze Liquors <br />Acting Mayor Elvig closed the regular portion of the City Council meeting at 7:05 p.m. in order <br />conduct a public hearing. <br />Public Hearing <br />Acting Mayor Elvig called the public hearing to order at 7:05 p.m. <br />Presentation <br />Assistant City Administrator Nelson stated that the City has received an application for an Off - <br />Sale Liquor License from Blaze Liquors and noted that all background information has been <br />completed and been found to be in compliance. She noted that this will be the liquor store at <br />Sunfish Commons, replacing TNT Liquors, and that the applicants were present if there are any <br />questions. <br />Councilmember Dehen asked if the applicants have been advised about the credits they can <br />receive for education before they are granted a license. <br />City Council October 28, 2008 <br />Page 4 of 20 <br />
