<br />CASE #1 <br /> <br />TITLE: <br /> <br />REVIEW AND ADOPT 2009 HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT <br />AUTHORITY OPERATING BUDGET <br /> <br />BY: <br /> <br />Diana Lund, Finance Officer <br /> <br />INTRODUCTION: <br /> <br />Attached for your review and consideration is the 2009 Proposed Housing and Redevelopment <br />Authority Budget. This is the same budget that was presented at the time of the HRA Levy <br />adoption in September and represents the same total expenditures and revenues as was adopted <br />for the 2009 budget. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION POINTS: <br /> <br />The financing source for these operations is interest earnings and property taxes from the HRA <br />levy. The HRA budget will outline the expenditures associated with staff time, consultants, and <br />the purchase of redevelopment property/properties. <br /> <br />Also Staff is requesting adoption of a resolution amending the 2008 activity. This is primarily a <br />"housekeeping" item and is done on an annual basis. The projections through the end of the year <br />are based on actual activity. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br /> <br />a) Proposed resolution adopting 2009 HRA operating budget. <br />b) Proposed resolution amending the 2008 HRA operating budget. <br /> <br />FUNDING SOURCE: <br /> <br />Budget is supported by the 2009 property tax levy. <br /> <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION: <br /> <br />Adopt resolution for the 2009 HRA budget and resolution amending 2008 HRA budget. <br /> <br />BOARD ACTION: <br /> <br />Motion to adopt Resolution #HRA-08-12-XXX Adopting the 2009 Housing and Redevelopment <br />Authority Operating Budget, <br /> <br />-and - <br /> <br />17 <br />
