<br />Assistant City Engineer Himmer stated that Mr. Peterson would not split the lot. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that there is also a gas line running through the property. <br /> <br />Chairperson Olson stated that she feels the City needs more information before it can make a <br />decision. <br /> <br />Commissioner Elvig stated that he supports getting more information but feels the City needs to <br />move quickly. <br /> <br />Commissioner Gamec suggested that this discussion be put on a work session agenda rather than <br />HRA so the different funding options can be considered. <br /> <br />Case #3: <br /> <br />Discussion Regarding Challenges and Opportunities Related to the Current <br />Foreclosure Conditions <br /> <br />Chairperson Olson stated that due to time, this case would have to be postponed until the next <br />HRA meeting. <br /> <br />Case #4: <br /> <br />Proposed Amendment to By-Laws Regarding HRA Membership <br /> <br />Chairperson Olson stated that due to time, this case would have to be postponed until the next <br />HRA meeting. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR'S REPORT <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER INPUT <br /> <br />Commissioner Strommen stated that she noted that other cities were not offering home buyer <br />assistance programs and asked why. <br /> <br />HRA Executive Director Frolik stated that it would be groundbreaking if the City chose to do <br />this and she thinks other communities concerns were in creating incentives that may have gotten <br />homebuyers to where they are now extending themselves. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Look, seconded by Commissioner Gamec, to close the regular meeting <br />of the Housing and Redevelopment Authority. <br /> <br />Housing and Redevelopment Authority / August 26, 2008 <br />Page 9 of 10 <br />
