Councilmember Olson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #08-09-186 RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #08-03 (SEALCOATING AND CRACKSEALING WHISPERING PINES ESTATES & PLAT 2, 4 &5 & MENK PINE HILLS NORTH) WHEREAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law, the Ramsey City Council has met and heard and passed upon all objections to the proposed assessment for the Improvement Project #08-03, which is includes the cracksealing and sealcoating of: Whispering Pines Estates & Plat 2,4 & 5 & Menk Pine Hills North 151st Lane from Kangaroo St. to Cui de Sac elo Hedgehog 8t. 152nd Ave. from Hedgehog St. to Cui de Sac 152nd Lane from Armstrong Blvd. to Cui de Sac 153rd Lane from. Iguana St to Eland 8t. 154th Ave. from Iguana 8t to Eland St. 154th Ave. from Kangaroo St. to Cui de Sac 154th Lane from Okapi to Armstrong Blvd. 155th Lane from Nutria St. to 300 feet elo Marmoset St. 156th Lane from Okapi to 250 feet elo Marmoset S1. Eland St. from 153rd Lane to 154th Lane Hedgehog St. from Alpine Dr. to 151st Lane Iguana St. from Alpine Dr. to 154th Lane Iguana St. from 151st Lane to Cui de Sac Jackel St. from Alpine Dr. to 154th Lane Kangaroo St. from 154th Lane to 151st Lane Marmoset St. from Alpine Dr. to 154th Lane Nutria St. from Alpine Dr. to 154th Lane Nutria St. from 155th Lane to 156th Lane OkapiSt. from Alpine Dr. to 154th Lane NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That such proposed assessment, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, it hereby accepted and shall constitute the special assessment against the lands named therein, and each tract ofland therein included is hereby found to be benefited by the improvement in the amount of the assessment levied against it. 2) That such assessment shall be payable in annual installments extending over a period of three years, the first of the installments to be payable with the first tax rolls of 2009 and shall bear interest at the rate of 6.0 percent annum from the date of the adoption of this assessment resolution. To the first installment interest shall be added on the entire assessment from the date ofthis resolution until December 31, 2009.
