CONSENT AGENDA <br />RESOLUTION # <br />HONORING SYLVIA FROLIK FOR TWENTY SEVEN YEARS OF <br />DEDICATED SERVICE TO THE CITY OF RAMSEY <br />WHEREAS, Sylvia Frolik began working for the City in 1981 as a part-time <br />temporary recording secretary for the City Council and became a fizll-time regular clerical <br />employee on August 26, 1986, and <br />WHEREAS, through hard work and perseverance Sylvia received several <br />promotions during her tenure with the City, including a promotion to Community <br />Development Director where she was a key player in bringing development to the City of <br />Ramsey; and - <br />WHEREAS, Sylvia has been awell-respected and kind leader and supervisor <br />who has represented the City with professionalism and integrity; and <br />WHEREAS, Sylvia Frolik will retire from the City of Ramsey on December 31, <br />2008. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEI' extends a heartfelt thank you to Ms. Sylvia Frolik for twenty seven <br />years of tireless, dedicated service to the Ramsey City Council, residents, business owners <br />and staff. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Ramsey will continue to honor Sylvia <br />Frolik by serving residents and business owners with the same professionalism and - <br />integrity that Sylvia has served with. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was. duly seconded by Council <br />Member, ,and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />.and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent:, <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council thisthe 9~' day of December 2008. <br />-135- <br />
