Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #0$-12-XXX <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE 2009-2013 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM <br />(CIP) <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Charter states -that the City of Ramsey will adopt a Capital <br />Improvement Program (CIP) annually; and <br />WHEREAS, the CIP will consist of at least five years, and will estimate the future needs <br />for the public health, safety and welfare of the City;- and <br />WHEREAS, the CIP shall consist of projects and facilities .(capital improvements) <br />proposed to be undertaken during the next five fiscal years, which is 2009-2013 with appropriate <br />supporting information as to the necessity for such improvements, cost estimates, and method of <br />financing; and <br />WHEREAS, the Capital Improvement Program (CIP) is a forecasting tool and not actual, <br />committed projects and expenditures. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey authorizes the adoption of the 2009-2013 <br />Capital Improvement Program (CIP). <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember, and <br />upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 9~' day of December, 2008. <br />Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />City Clerk <br />-181- <br />
