Environmental Coordinator Anderson advised that he would attempt to get that for him. He stated that he would like to see a recommendation from the Board that the Council adopt this Board Member Max questioned if they could .also bring this forward in January, as he thought that. some of the Councilmembers might be changing in this election. Board Member Bentz questioned if Boardmember Sibilski had responded to this. Environmental Coordinator Anderson advised that there had been no delineations done and that only the quality of -the wetlands was reviewed. He advised that he did not receive a response from Boardmember Sibilski. Chairperson McDilda suggested that they be prepared to explain what happened and why the managed three wetlands were upgraded or were removed. He explained that it was not that they had wanted to move those wetlands up but were merely following the procedure. Environmental Coordinator Anderson advised that areas that were incorrectly mapped as wetlands or that were stormwater ponds had been removed. Chairperson McDilda suggested that as many Boardmembers as possible attend the meeting to show support. He advised that this piece of the plan had been discussed in detail and they complied with everything that had been asked and completed it as scientifically as possible. Motion by Chairperson McDilda and seconded by Board member Freeburg to recommend that City Council adopt the updated municipal wetland management classification map as part of the Surface Water Management Plan, and that the EPB support staff in any means necessary through the adoption process. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson McDilda, Board Member Bentz, Freeburg, Max, and Stodola. Voting No: None. Absent: Board Member Sibilski. BOARD INPUT Environmental Coordinator Anderson advised that the fall recycling event took place two weeks ago and about 250 vehicles had come through. He advised that around the same number of vehicles came through the spring event, with the exception being that residents were bringing less material to the fall event. He advised that they were just shy of 50,000 pounds of electronics in the spring and thought that there was somewhere between 13,000 to 15,000 pounds collected at the fall event. Chairperson McDilda thought that garage sales contributed to less items being brought in during the fall, as they had been replaced during the summer. He thought that numbers would be higher again in the spring and also thought that the television switch occurring in February would also. contribute to the spring event. Board Member Max questioned the status of the membership of the Board. Environmental Coordinator Anderson advised that the Board is short. one member and thought that interviews had either taken place recently or would be taking place shortly.
