Absent: Commissioners Cleveland and Rogers. <br />The public hearing closed at 8:23 p.m. <br />Commission Business <br />Chairperson Nixt called the regular meeting of the Planning Commission back to order at 8:23 <br />p.m. <br />Motion by Chairperson Nixt, seconded by Commissioner Van Scoy, to recommend that City <br />Council that Section 9.22.02, Subd. 2, of the City Code be amended by adding the <br />acknowledgment of the CLOMR letter dated September 25, 2008, to the Official Zoning Map, <br />subject to and contingent upon the delivery to City Council of a pictorial representation of the pre <br />and post effect of the proposed amendment. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Nixt, Commissioners Van Scoy, Brauer, Hunt, and <br />Levine. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Cleveland and Rogers. <br />Chairperson Nixt recessed the Planning Commission meeting at 8:24 p.m. <br />The Planning Commission reconvened at 8:34 p.m. <br />Case #5: Public Hearing -Draft 2008 Comprehensive Plan Update; Case of City of <br />Ramsey <br />Chairperson Nixt closed the regular portion of the Planning Commission meeting at 8:34 p.m. in <br />order to call the public hearing to order. <br />Public Hearing <br />Chairperson Nixt called the public hearing to order at 8:34 p.m. <br />Presentation <br />Associate Planner Gladhill explained that per state mandate, each community in the seven county <br />metro area is required to submit a Comprehensive Plan to the Metropolitan Council every ten <br />years; the deadline to submit an adopted plan to the Met .Council is December 31, 2008, <br />Planning Commission/November 6, 2008 <br />Page 12 of 18 <br />
