Ramsey Police Department Monthly Report <br />October 2008 <br />General Police Statistics and Highlights <br />^ Credit Card Fraud Report <br />Investigators have identified two suspects that may be involved in credit card fraud, <br />stemming from a September theft from vehicle. Suspects broke into a vehicle on <br />September lst and stole the owner's purse, containing cash and credit cards. The suspects <br />began using the card immediately following the theft at numerous businesses in Coon <br />Rapids. Surveillance tapes at a number of businesses were reviewed and suspects have <br />been identified. A felony case file is being prepared to submit to the County Attorney's <br />office for charges. <br />^ Administrative Citations <br />Thirty-two administrative citations were issued in October. Citations were issued for 30 <br />parking violations and one animal complaint. A citation was also issued for a second <br />offense involving blight. <br />^ Animal Control <br />Seven dogs were contained and transported to the Anoka Impound Facility in October. <br />Six were adopted and one was euthanized. <br />-4- <br />
