The plant is projected <br />to be required by 2010. Site acquisition should be started so that the site is avaiiable when design of the plant is authorized, <br />This. work should include negotiating first right of refusal for the property. <br />The process will include acquisition of the River bank intake arid transmission line route. <br />Justification I . . <br />The treatment plant will provide more aesthetically pleasing water, eliminate staining, reduce fouling of water softness and improve the taste and' <br />odor of the water.
