Phase 1 will include the extension from Jasper Street where I 67th Avenue currently terminates as a roadway conforming to state aid standards for a collector street to Marble' Street. This segJ!1ent will provide access to the newly developing Brookfieid Addition. . The location of the roadway west of marble street will be discussed as the comprehensive plan is 'adopted in 2008. Total $1,490,000 Justification This roadway represents an east~west collector street through the center ofthe City. The nearest alternative collector on arterial routes are Green Valley Road (CR #63') which is one mile north and Alpine Drive which is 1 1/2 miles south.
