<br />CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a City Council Work Session on Tuesday, <br />September 23, 2008, at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, <br />Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember John Dehen <br />Councilmember David Elvig <br />Councilmember David Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Matt Look <br />Councilmember Mary Jo Olson <br />Councilmember Sarah Strommen <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Assistant City Administrator Heidi A. Nelson <br />Public Works Director Brian Olson <br />Civil Engineer II Leonard Linton <br />Donald Demers, SRF Consulting <br />Nancy Fricke, SRF Consulting <br />Curt Kobilarcski, Anoka County <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the City Council Work Session to order at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />The agenda was approved as submitted. <br /> <br />COUNCIL TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br /> <br />1) Update on TH #10 <br /> <br />Public Works Director Olson stated that there has been significant progress on this <br />project since April when the Council had their last update, so he asked Mr. Demers to <br />give another update tonight. <br /> <br />Mr. Demers reviewed the boundaries of the Highway 10 project and the dates of the <br />public meetings that have been held. He noted that on December 6, 2007, there was an <br />informational business meeting here at the City; on February 11,2008, there was a public <br />open house; and on February 21, 2008, there was a special meeting with Oak Terrace <br />community, which was poorly attended. He stated that they have also met with <br />individual interested business owners.
