PUBLIC HEARING <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a public hearing regarding Improvement, Project 4/90-14 <br />(extension of sanitary sewer and water trunks to service Wood Pond Hills, Chestnut Hills, Cedar <br />Hills, Chestnut Pond and Fleischer's 2nd Additions), Improvement Project #90-19 (lateral sewer <br />and water and street improvements to service Cedar Hills Addition), Improvement Project ~90-20 <br />(lateral sewer and water and street improvements to service Chestnut Hills Addition), Improvement <br />Project #90-21 (lateral sewer and water and street improvements to service Windemere Woods <br />Addition) and Improvement Project ~)0-28 (lateral sewer and water and street improvements to <br />service Chestnut Pond Addition) on Tuesday, July 9, 1991 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, <br />15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota 55303. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor James Gilbertson <br />Councilmember Sheila Beyer <br />Councilmember Glen Hardin <br />Councilmember Kenneth Peterson <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator Ryan Schroeder <br />City Engineer Steven Jankowski <br />Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br /> <br />Members Absent: Councilmember Richard Cich <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson called the public hearing to order at 7:07 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />PRESENTATION <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder stated that the Council had adopted resolutions directing City Staff to <br />conduct these public improvement projects. The time line for processing has since expired which <br />constitutes re-initiation of Improvement Project ~90-14, 90-19, 90-20, 90-21 and 90-28. Petitions <br />were received for Cedar Hills, Wood Pond Hills and Windemere Woods thus far. <br /> <br />Mr. Tom Gallagher, M.G. Astleford Co., representing Cedar Hills, inquired if the new tax <br />increment projections had been drafted. <br /> <br />Mr. Schroeder replied that the tax increment projections had been reviewed and updated. He added <br />that his update was done on a very conservative basis and in his estimate, the increments are going <br />to be approximately 60% of the amounts that were provided to the developers a year ago.
