<br />Councilmember Jeffrey introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #08-10-207 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING 2ND PARTIAL PAYMENT TO ALLIED BLACKTOP <br />FOR DIVISION A OF THE 2008 PAVEMENT MAINTENANCE PROGRAM <br />(IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS 08-02 THROUGH 08-04) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council approved the. plans and specifications and the <br />advertisement for bids for the above-referenced work on May 15,2008; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the 2008 Street Maintenance <br />Program, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law onJune 6, 2008; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on June 10, 2008 the Ramsey City Council adopted resolution #08-06-099 <br />awarding Division A to Allied Blacktop Inc. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City Engineer, Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed work and <br />recommends partial payment to Allied Blacktop in the amount of$374,202.06. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City Engineer, Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed work and <br />reconimends partial payment to Allied Blacktop in the amount of $36,990.83. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Allied Blacktop. Inc. for <br />Improvement Project 2008 Street Maintenance Program - Division A in the amoUnt of <br />$36,990.83. <br /> <br />,2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City <br />Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. <br /> <br />3) That the total amount ofthis payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of <br />bills for the date of October, 2008. <br /> <br />4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this <br />resolution. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Olson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Councilmember Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Olson <br />Councilmember Dehen <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #08-10-207 <br />Page 1 of2 <br />
