<br />Councilmember Olson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #08-10-210 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR IMPROVEMENT <br />PROJECT #08-37, COUNTY POND STORM SEWER OUTLET <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the stormwater plan for Ramsey Town Center included a series of regional <br />basins and an outlet to the Mississippi River, and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the construction of the of the River outlet was delayed until such time that <br />development reached a threshold necessitating its installation, and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Ramsey Town Center is nearing this development threshold requiring the <br />storm sewer outlet to be installed, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Storm Water Impact Fees from Ramsey Town Center development will be <br />the funding source for the improvement. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1) The advertisement shall be according to state law. <br /> <br />2) The bids will be publicly opened and tabulated. <br /> <br />3) The bids will be brought before the Council for award of contract. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Strommen, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Councilmember Olson <br />Councilmember Strommen <br />Councilmember Dehen <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Look <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />none <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />none <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #08-10-210 <br />Page 1 of2 <br />
