Further Discussion: Mayor Gamec asked how the City can put City traffic on private roads. <br />Public Works Director Olson stated that this road just provides access , to the businesses. <br />Commissioner Olson stated that she thinks business will want to keep their access open. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Vice - Chairperson Dehen, Mayor Gamec and Councilmember <br />Olson. Voting No: None. Absent: Chairperson Elvig. <br />Vice Chair Dehen recessed the meeting at 6:39 p.m. and reconvened' at 6:45 p.m. <br />Case #3: Consider Relocation of Crosswalk on Ramsey Boulevard North of 149 <br />Avenue <br />City Engineer Jankowski stated that this crosswalk has been located on the Tom Thumb property <br />and was here because it facilitated pedestrian traffic to the ,Tom Thumb, but with the <br />development of the townhome development, the pedestrian population has shifted to the south <br />and it seems more reasonable to relocate this to the southern side of 140 _Avenue. <br />ti ? <br />Motion . by Mayor Gamec, seconded by Councilmember Olson, to recommend to the City <br />Council that Anoka County Highway Department be to request that fhe consider the <br />relocation of the existing crosswalk to', the southerly side of 149 Avenue at Rarri`s Boulevard. <br />Motion carried.
