CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, November 12, 1991 at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota, 55303. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor James Gilbertson <br />Councilmember Glen Hardin <br />Councilmember Kenneth Peterson <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator Ryan Schroeder <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />City Engineer Steven Jankowski <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Councilmember Sheila Beyer <br />Councilmember Richard Cich <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson called the regular Council meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and led in the Pledge of <br />Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Carolyn Nelson, Representing the Ramsey Business EXPO and the Economic Development <br />Commission, was present and stated that the City had made a donation of $2,000 to the EXPO. <br />She stated she was pleased to be able to present a check back to the City in the amount of <br />$1,491.39 due to the post monitoring of expenditures, etc. <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson and the Councilmembers commended Ms. Nelson and the Economic <br />Development Commission on the great job they did with regard to the Ramsey Business EXPO. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson adjourned the regular meeting at 7:35 p.m.in order to conduct the following <br />public hearing: <br /> <br />1) Request by V.H. Enterprises, Inc. for on-sale intoxicating liquor and Sunday sales license. <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson called the regular City Council meeting back to order at 7:36 p.m. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Hardin to approve the <br />agenda with the following addition: <br /> <br />Case //6: <br /> <br />Adopt Ordinance Amending Non-conforming Use Section of <br />the Zoning Code Regulating Adult Uses <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Peterson and Hardin. Voting <br />No: None.
