Or. 2008) <br /> <br />OREGON {11/12108)-Under Oregon's Ballot Measure 37, when the <br />fair market value of private property was reduced by local land use regu- <br />lations that restricted the use of the property, the local government was <br />required to: (1) pay compensation to the property owner for loss of fair <br />market value; or (2) waive enforcement of land use regulations'. <br />Following the requirements of Measure 37, the county agreed to <br />waive zoning restrictions that were imposed on some of its citizens' prop- <br />erty (the "Citizens"). In 2007, Oregon voters passed Ballot Measure 49, <br />'which superseded Measure 37.
