explained as part of the discussions between 1999 and 2001, the City would sell land east of
Xkimo Street and south of 142nd Avenue. The land is currently designated as park land,
however, it is not dedicated park and it is not currently being used as part of the River's Bend
Park system.

City Administrator Norman advised in exchange for the sale of the land in River's Bend Park,
Mr. Foster would release his right of access to 143rd Avenue, and provide easement rights for
trail through all his properties along T.H. #47. Mr. Foster would also like all trail fees forgiven,
however, the money received for the sale of land could be directed to cover the costs of park and
trail fees.

The consensus of the Council was to direct staff to come determine a price for the sale of the land
and come back to the Council with a proposal.

MAYOR AND COUNCIL

None.

ADJOURNMENT

Motion by Councilmember Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Pearson, to adjourn the meeting.

Motion carried.

The Work Session ofthe City Council adjourned at 9:29 p.m.

Respectfully submitted,

Carol Hamer
Recording Secretary
TimeSaver Off Site Secretarial, In~.

James E.
