CASE #2 <br /> <br />FIRE MARSHALL AND FIRE INSPECTOR POSITIONS <br /> By: David Griffin, Fire Chief <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />The Ramsey Fire Department needs to create two new positions that will need to be recognized by <br />City Staff and City Council. These positions were briefly discussed at the last Fire Board meeting. <br />The Fire Board Members were given a preliminary job description for the two positions and were <br />requested to indicate any concerns or questions so as I could address those at this meeting. <br /> <br />These positions would be directly accountable to the Fire Chief and would inform the Fire Chief on <br />any and all actions prior to being implemented. <br /> <br />The only pay that would be distributed for these positions, at this time, would be based on the <br />increment system already being used.
