Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved. for its adoption: RESOLUTION #09-02-XXX RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #08-23 (ANDRIE STREET & 164TH LANE STREET IMPROVEMENTS AND CALLING FOR THE PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS WHEREAS, pursuant to a motion of the Ramsey City Council, adopted on May 13, 2008 in response to a petition, a feasibility report for street improvements to Andrie Street and 164th Lane in the Northfork Subdivision has been received, having been prepared by Steve Jankowski, City Engineer; and, WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #08-11-218 on November 25, 2008,. fixing a date for a Council public hearing on the proposed improvement. WHEREAS, ten days' mailed notice and two weeks' published notice of the hearing was given, and the hearing was held on January 13,2009, at which time all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon; and WHEREAS, the City has waited the required 30 day period for a project initiated by citizen petition days following the public hearing. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the improvement is necessary, cost-effective, and feasible as detailed in the feasibility study report. 2) That such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in this council resolution. 3) That the City Engineer is hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement. 4) That the engineer shall prepare plans and .specifications for the making of such improvement. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: RESOLUTION #09-02-XXX Page 1 of 2 -109-
