Case # g <br />CONSIDER PROPOSAL FOR POLICE SERVICES <br />FOR CITY OF NOWTHEN <br />By: Chief Jim Way <br />Background: <br />In a letter dated January T5, 2009, the City of Nowthen requested a proposal from the <br />City of Ramsey for police services. At the regular City Council meeting on January 27, <br />2009, Council directed staff to draft a proposal for the City of Nowthen. A committee <br />. consisting of three members of the Ramsey City Council, the Police Chief and Captain, <br />the Fire Chief, the Anoka County Attorney and members of the Nowthen City Council <br />was formed. The Committee has met twice to review details of a proposal.
