The
committee met on two different occasions and has drafted with a proposal to be reviewed
by the City Council as a whole. The purpose of this work session is to discuss the details
of this draft proposal and seek the input of the entire Council as to how or if to proceed.

Action Statement:
Direct staff to submit/not submit a contract proposal and establish a letter of intent with
the City of Nowthen for police protective services. Based upon Council discussion, this
case will appear on the February 24, 2009 Council Agenda.
