From: Greb, Gary
Sent: Thursday, January 22, 2009 8;09 AM
To: 'Neighbors@FllntwoodHiils,org'; 'Bob Ramsey'
Cc: 'dkthleien'; 1 gary_g_10q , com'
Subject: facts not on your website
Here are "facts" that if this website is truly un -bias, should include;
In the three years that this closure has been an issue, which the main emphasis has been safety, and vehicles speeding,
Not one accident has been attributed to the traffic flow.on Argon St or 142nd Ave, even during the Bunker Lake Blvd
reconstruction
Not one speeding ticket has been issued on any of the proposed. streets for road closure, again not. even during the
Bunker Lake
Blvd reconstruction.
There is no documented proof that the accidents happening on Hwy 47 were from people turning to go down to Argon St
and not
to the frontage road leading to the businesses in the area, but that street remains open
The people wanting the road closure (Who also o.perata thla website) want it closed at 14nd Ave and have not been
receptive to any other options
The main person pushing the road closure happens to be a personal friend of Ward 4 Council member David Jeffery who
still voted to
close the road Immediately at the last Council meeting even through there was more documented evidence from residents
showing -the
majority of the residents want the road to remain open, and those wanting. the road closed have never shown any major
support from the neighbors, nor have they contacted their neighbors of their intentions that would affect the entire
neighborhood.
The statistics stated on this website to try and justify the road closum would be denied by anyone living ON the part of
Argon St that actually can see the traffic out their front windows.
Even the name of this website is misleading representation as Flintwood Hills consists of three separate additions of
which the webmaster is only part of the 3rd addition, so should he should not represent, himself for all of the additions.
This also happens to be the same method he used to try and get the road closed in the first place by claiming he
represented the neighborhood, but again never spoke with any of us. Also, he has'no documentation
to.show that he in fact is representing even the 3rd addition for this website, I know I have never been asked to support
him, or this website, and I live here.
I have also contacted every business on the West side of Hwy 47, and yes they ALL say that the closure would further
hurt their businesses, but I doubt if the wOnlaster has aver contacted them before. building this website or stating his
facts and attempting to Giese the road, even though the decision will also affect those businesses..
I know that this information will not be put on the website as this website is flawed at best, and blas by all accounts, -
i would love to see you prove me wrong and add this Information to the website, Also, to add my - contact information to.
this website
783 427 -7192 Gary Grob so if anyone wants to contest these facts as stated, I am more than willing to listen to them..,
4110-
