ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY BOARD CITY OF RAMSEY ANOKA COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA On Monday, January 5, 2009, the Environmental Policy Board (EPB) met in the Mississippi River Room at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. Members Present: Acting Chairperson Michael Max Ex- Officio Member Joe McDilda Board Member Bob Bentz Board Member John Freeburg Board Member Bob Sibilski (left meeting at 7:45 p.m.) Board Member Thomas Stodola Members Absent: None. Also Present: Environmental Coordinator Chris Anderson City Councilmember Colin McGlone CALL TO ORDER Acting Chairperson Max called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. CITIZEN INPUT Councilmember McGlone advised that he was newly elected to the City Council and was attending the meeting to find out a little more about the EPB. He looked forward to attending future Board meetings as well. The Board Members explained a little about the history of the EPB. Acting Chairperson Max was glad to see that the new Councilmember was in attendance at the meeting and thought it was great to establish a new line of communication with the Council. APPROVAL OF AGENDA Motion by Board Member Sibilski and seconded by Board Member Freeburg to approve the agenda as submitted. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Acting Chairperson Max, Board Member Bentz, Freeburg, Sibilski and Stodola. Voting No: None. Abstaining: Ex- Officio Member McDilda. Absent: None. APPROVAL OF ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY BOARD MINUTES Motion by Board Member Sibilski and seconded by Board Member Bentz to approve the regular meeting minutes dated December 1, 2008. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Acting Chairperson Max, Board Member Bentz, Freeburg, Sibilski and Stodola. Voting No: None. Abstaining: Ex- Officio Member McDilda. Absent: None.
